Baskets ‘n Baurnafea
Written by admin on April 29th, 2009I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I was going to feature some friends house that I loved. Today I want to start with Klaus and Heika an inspiration for all who know them, the most self sufficient couple I know. They live in a beautiful house which Klaus built with his own two hands, with their two boys, Oisin the dog and all sorts of feathered friends. Heika is a basket maker, wonderful Gardner and home maker extraordinar………..I want to start with her workshop
This is harvested willow waiting to be transformed into beautiful baskets.
You should be left in no doubt as to how baskets are made. They are so beautiful to use and have in your home………Next I will give you a glimps into their garden and house.
